How To Achieve Power Brows

1. BRUSH UP
Its the one step that usually gets forgotten, but its vitally important to ensure you achieve the perfect arch. Using an eyebrow brush to see where your natural arch is and this will guide you to where your stray hair are.

2. TWEEZE
Use a sharp, slanted pair of tweezers as they'll grab tiny hair without pinching your skin and pluck in a well lit room.

3. SHADE
Before you do anything sharpen your pencil! A blunt pencil will make your brows look messy, so make sure you've got a precise edge. Using light, short strokes, fill in your eyebrows working from the inner to outer corner.

4. SEAL
You've done the hard work, now you just need to make it last by sealing in the color. Sweep over with a transparent gel to control and tame your brow so that you don't have to touch up for the rest of the day.

DIY : Lace Shorts

Found these DIY cutoffs online recently and I loved them. Definitely worth a share.

Here's what you'll need
A white pair of jeans
Measuring tape
A colored chalk
Needle and thread
Two types of lace
Scissors

Step 1 : Fold the pant with the backside out and mark 12 inches from the top.

Step 2 : Mark across the pant.

Step 3 : Cut across on an angle

Step 4 : Lay your larger piece of lace across the front of one side and a cut piece for the bottom of the short. Cut several more pieces until the front is covered up to the pocket.

Step 5 : Cut a piece of the smaller lace trim to accent the top of the pocket on each side.

Step 6 :  Begin sewing the lace on in rows, securing  just the corners and several pieces in the middle. Leave a bit of space in between to add a little pop.

Step 7 : Sew the tiny lace on.

There you go! All set to sport these cutoffs.

How To Get Rid Of Crusty Feet

Whether its summer or not, cracked or crusty feet can be really embarrassing.

But no worries, you can have happy feet with just a little care. All you'll need is right here at home; a tub, warm water, salt, pumice stone, moisturiser and a pair of soft cotton socks.

Fill a tub with warm water and a handful of salt.

Keep feet soaking for about 20 minutes.
Remove from tub and genlty rub feet with the pumice stone.
Once done, rinse feet with warm water and pat dry.
Gently rub in the moisturiser over your feet.
Put on the cotton socks as it will help retain the moisturiser and prevent the feet from dryness.
If you do this at night, you could leave the socks on overnight.

Wake up to happy feet :)

Lovely Lace

There's nothing more feminine and romantic than a touch of lace. But one has to tread carefully: an inch too far one way and you're Fredrick's of Hollywood, an inch too far in the other direction and — BAM — you're starring in Downtown Abbey.

Rightly said.

Lace has been around for as long as, I don't know, forever? This trend has been all of boyish cuts and unexpected colors.

Bring lace back and opt for a lace collar like this.

Gorgeous lace alone can make any dress look WOW, no matter what style or length! Shown on the 2013 catwalks with abundance, and looking more luxurious than ever, it’s both traditional and ultra-feminine – perfect for every bride!

Beautiful Blush

Blush is a medium tone of red-violet.

Soft, soothing and feminine, this shade can easily makes a statement. It adds personality by itself without being loud. This works perfectly on a mini, midi or maxi this breezy summer season. Pair it up with a seater or blazer and you have the most elegant ensemble

According to J. Crew's head of women's design, Marissa Webb, blush acts as a nice bridge between intense colors such as pink, purple or red, in an outfit. "To me its almost a neutral," says Webb who also combines it with beige.
-The Look

Go wild and pair it with scarlet. Why not?

Hilary Swank, Heather Morris and Jayma Mays on the red carpet. This shade has made it to many an award functions.

Not to forget this is a very popular shade for weddings and look totally flattering on all of your bridesmaids. A floor length gown in this shade can look really sophisticated once put together. A very romantic color too.

Pretty Pastel

Pastel. Vintage. Classic.

Its time to get those pastels out already. Pastels consists of soft soothing colours that will brighten your wardrobe this season.

Pastels have been all over this award season. Selena Gomez wore a lovely strapless baby blue peplum top and white shorts by Oscar de la Renta to the Kids Choice Awards 2013. Matching it with ankle shoes and that bright nails, she totally worked this looked.

A pastel blazer on jeans can never go wrong. Here's Miranda Kerr rocking the look.

Even the Princess loves pastels. A few red carpet shots of celebs going pastel.

If you're wondering how to pull off pastels, its really simple. Pastels can be worn just as itself. A combination of florals and prints works out really well. You can even mix and match pastels with bright colors. Or just opt for pastel accessories, like just the clutch.
